Drinking water production

In the process of drinking water production, numbers of hazardous compounds have to be removed. This process is becoming complicated day by day due to environment pollution all over the world.

 

Ceycarb offers wide range of powdered activated carbon (PAC) and granular activated carbon (GAC) for removing of hydrocarbons, pesticides including by products, colours, taste and odours, detergents, and for dechlorination and deozonation.

Process water treatment

For industries such as beverages and certain food processing, water is an essential raw material which is needed to be purified with intensive care. In other uses of water for process applications like boiler feedwater treatment and condensate and contact water treatment applications, water has to be treated. Ceycarb offers different grades including water washed, acid-washed carbon with low silica content, and low iron content.

Boiler Feedwater Treatment

Properly treated water has to be fed to the boilers in order to prevent problems such as: VOC carry over to the steam, Over consumption of boiler water treatment chemicals, Corrosion, Foaming, Scaling

Removing of odours emitted from waste water and sewage treatment plants

Wastewater and sewage treatment plants emit malodorous compounds which are needed to be removed before they spread to the atmosphere. Activated carbon is one of the most effective media for removing a wide range of contaminants from industrial and municipal waste waters, landfill leachate and contaminated ground. As the world’s most powerful adsorbent, it can cope with a wide range of contaminants. Different contaminants may be present in the same discharge and carbon may be used to treat the total flow, or it may be better utilized to remove specific contaminants as part of a multistage approach.

As with potable water, Ceycarb has a dedicated reactivation facility that handles industrial grades of spent carbon. If required, the spent carbon can be returned and kept segregated – custom reactivation of the carbon can be taken from, and returned to, an industrial pool of carbon.

Remediation water treatment
