Air / Gas Purification

Air / Gas treatment to restrict harmful odorous gases is one of the key requirements in the petroleum industry. In some cases, it is required to treat gases to protect catalysts, downstream equipment, pipes etc. Furthermore, as air emission regulations drive the need for the stringent control of hazardous air pollutants, gases with impurity levels of a few hundred ppm are to be treated cost-effectively. Air/ gas treatment using activated carbon is the cheapest method for this type of treatment and well ahead of any of the other treatment technologies.

Removing of odors Emitted From Wastewater And Sewage Treatment Plants

Wastewater in the petroleum industry is contaminated with Phenol, Benzene, heavy metals, and a combination of BTX. BOD level of the water reads as 150 – 250 mg/l while that of COD reads as 300 – 600 mg/l. CarbUSA offers catalytic products for the efficient removal of hydrocarbons, Phenols, Ammoniacal Nitrogen, BTX and heavy metals. Moreover, the products can reduce BOD and COD levels down to a value very much below the environmental standards.
